Total Makeover

This solid wall bungalow was due for an thermal upgrade with EPS solid insulation finished with Silicone Render and some replacement feature brick trim.

On a private road in St Albans this 1930s bungalow had been renovated and extended the original walls had no insulation.
 

Don't worry. We have a great solution. 

First we wrapped the whole of the ground floor in grey EPS thermal insulation, taking care to protect the windows and cut in tight to the doorways and soffits.

​

Then we added the silicone render to create a consistent finish front to back.

​

Finally we used brick slips to reinstate the original archway and corner features.

​

The end result is a beautifully finished house as grand as the day it was built.​​​​
