Bycullah Build

The homeowner of this self-build project hired us to skim-plaster the whole house
in Enfeld EN2.

He had done a pretty good job with the plasterboard but we asked him to leave the metal edge strip to us because it makes all the difference if it's exactly square.

​

Some of the original plaster was in poor condition and so we first had to strengthen it with mesh before skimming. 

​

We were happy to work in phases to suit the client's schedule of work. In fact, we still have to go back when he's ready to do the garage and outside rendering.  We like projects where the client knows exactly what they want and appreciates the high standards we always work to.

 

It's the little things - like retrieving the lighting and plug socket cables while the plaster is still soft - that make a project easier
for all the trades involved.
